In the bustling heart of Kathmandu, Laxmi and his wife Vananda run a vibrant “rock shop” filled with stunning crystals and custom jewelry. When I’m in Nepal, I spend my afternoons here, chatting with their warm and welcoming family over sweet tea and cookies. Vananda is the talented artisan behind many of the malas featured on our site, hand-stringing each bead with patience and care. Laxmi designs much of the intricate hand-carved jewelry, showcasing his creative vision and craftsmanship. Together, they balance their artistry with raising their two children, creating a space that embodies creativity, love, and community. Custom designs are always welcome, a testament to their dedication and skill.
